v.0.2 - Chase and Crash

Hello everyone!

It's been several months since the initial release of Clutch Decisions. It has been a personal project at first and I never expected any downloads at all. However, this supplement has 150+ downloads and I have had quite a few feedbacks from players. I cannot express how happy I am about my humble homebrew bringing some nice time to your tables. Thanks to everyone who took the time to give it a chance!

All your feedback encouraged me to continue the development and I am happy to announce that a second version of Clutch Decisions has just been released! I have rewritten and reorganized pretty much the whole document, it is now (as it seems to me, at least) much clearer and easy to use. I have tried to keep the game as modular as possible: "Basic gameplay" section still fits a single page and this is still the only thing you need to read in order to use Clutch Decisions; almost every Extended Rule can be added on top of that in order to get a richer experience. You can play with random tables or without them, it's up to you.

There is also a lot of new content inside. I have written a new section that encompasses failure outcomes; a new random table will help you to decide how bad the accident is depending on the vehicle speed. Another new section covers driving against an active opposition, it allows car chases and navigating around your foes while driving at high speed. Another big section is called "Biomes": these are combinations of optional rules that simulate driving through fields, snow forests and mountains. In total, the new version of Clutch Decisions is 11 pages longer than the first one.

Clutch Decisions is still being developed. I have a lot of content-wise ideas for the upcoming versions: there are new biomes, IRL locations, a basic rule set that would allow to play Clutch Decisions independently, etc. There are also some structural enhancements I would love to bring: at some point I will translate Clutch Decisions in French and Russian, try to make a better layout, etc. Stay tuned!

Thanks again for your time and feel free to reach out!
