Act Your Age

Act Your Age is a game about growing up. Embody a talented teenager who aspire to become a high-tier specialist in a field, be they accompanied by their friends (other players) or alone. Learn the ropes, become a legend and, if you live long enough, deal with the consequences of your actions.  

Act Your Age is a setting agnostic game, therefore your campaign may take place in any fictional universe of your choice. 

In order to play this game you only need this trifold, some paper for each player to keep track of their character and at least one full set of polyhedral dice (ideally, one set per player). One person would act as Game Master: they will handle Non-Player Characters, the environment and plot twists. The game has also been playtested as a GMless solo TTRPG but it does not feature any built-in GM emulator. I highly suggest Mythic GME, One Page Solo Engine or any other oracle of your choice.

This game has been written for the One-Page RPG Jam 2025 and is distributed under CC BY 4.0 Licence. The core rules fit entirely on the first page of the trifold, the second page only features front cover, basic description, credits and a very basic set of tips for Game Masters.
